The Role
1. Plan, manage and develop your product groups range of products for the UK market, managing them through the product lifecycle.
2. Create and maintain application and cross reference databases for aftermarket products through research and compilation of data.
3. Transform these databases into robust, high quality UK application catalogues across all media.
4. Maintain and continuously analyse product ranges as required, making recommendations for improvements, additions and deletions.
5. Set up new to range items on the relevant systems, creating initial order quantity and annual sales forecast and forecasting to protect from redundant stock.
6. Assist in warranty administration.
7. Create and control product bulletins.
8. Attend exhibitions, PR functions and customer events where necessary and be prepared to travel within the UK on business as requested.
The Candidate
9. Our ideal candidate will have experience in an analytical role dealing with large amounts of data, this should include extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
10. Automotive aftermarket experience is preferred, although an interest in cars is also relevant for this position.
11. Previous experience in a product related role is beneficial, this could be Product Coordinator, Product Analyst or Assistant Product Manager. Ideally with an understanding of a product lifecycle.
12. The ability to travel, on occasion throughout the UK. European travel may be required on an infrequent basis.
