Protocol Education are recruiting for a Cover Supervisor within a SEND School in Walsall.

The school is now looking for a dedicated SEND Cover Supervisor to join their team and uphold their high standards of teaching and learning.
Role: SEND Cover Supervisor
Location: Walsall
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
Start Date: ASAP
Qualifications: Relevant experience in education or related fields is desirable but not essential. Strong interpersonal and classroom management skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers.
2. Ensure students are engaged in pre-set learning activities and support their understanding to achieve the learning objectives.
3. Maintain good behaviour and promote an atmosphere conducive to learning.
4. Act as a positive role model, setting high expectations for conduct and behaviour.
Ideal Candidate:
5. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
6. Able to support and guide students through their learning activities, ensuring they stay on task.
7. Enthusiastic, proactive, and committed to maintaining a positive and respectful environment.
8. Experience working with children in a school setting is preferred but not required.
