About the role:
You will be working in a busy Shopping Centre, where you will be expected to have expert knowledge on how to deescalate conflict issues and deal with security related incidents.
Your key role is to maintain security, health and safety and stakeholder relationships. You will be expected to have a friendly disposition and be outgoing enough to get to know the Centre retailers and maintain good relations with them and your Team.
You will perform your role with diligence and instil confidence in others that you will resolve their concerns quickly. Your attitude should always focus on ‘how can I help’ in all situations.
You will be flexible and willing to help and act as a key part of the team. During your working day you will focus on developing and coaching staff to deliver service excellence.
You will receive full training, and we are looking for motivated individuals who will make a measurable contribution to the continued success of GUK.
Core Responsibilities:
1. Carry out patrols to identify any faults ensuring the premises is maintained to the highest standard, well-presented and clean at all times
2. Reporting faults to Management
3. Provide information and dealing with any queries from the Shopping Centre Tenants and members of the public
4. General security duties
5. Following GUK’s and Client procedures and protocols regarding health and safety.
Must have:
6. SIA licence
7. Right to work in the UK
8. Excellent customer service skills
9. Excellent report writing and IT skills
10. Ability to compose emails and prepare reports
11. Proactively uses initiative to recognise priorities within own workload
12. Good problem-solving skills
13. A good level of spoken and written English
14. Dealing with difficult situations and finding solutions
