We have a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded Finance Director to join our Executive Team, where you will have significant impact on the financial direction and strategic growth of Newport Live.
Hours, Pay and Benefits
* Full time, working 37 hours per week
* Predominantly working Monday-Friday with a need to be flexible in line with needs of the business
* Salary £70,000-£80,000 per annum, depending on experience
* Annual leave 33 days per year (including bank holiday entitlement)

Key Experiences and Qualifications
Essential for your application
* Fully qualified Accountant (CIMA / CIPFA / ACCA / ACA or equivalent)
* Experience of providing strategic financial leadership and delivering results
* Ability to advise Trustees and senior leaders on financial strategies
* Skilled at developing and managing key performance indicators
* Strong leadership and people management skills
* Highly motivated and results-driven
Beneficial for your application
* Knowledge of the Not-for-Profit and Charity sector
* Understanding of public sector funding models
* Experience of working within a commerical business
* Ability to communicate in Welsh

We are seeking a commercially minded Finance Director to join our Executive Team, led by our Chief Executive. This is an exciting time to join us with:

This is a senior leadership role where you will have significant impact on the financial direction and strategic growth of the Trust.
About the Role
As Finance Director, you will:
* Provide strategic direction and oversight to the Finance Manager, who leads a small finance team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality financial management and support across the Trust
* Oversee all aspects of financial management, business planning, investment and risk management
* Provide strategic oversight to support growth, development, and long-term sustainability
* Act as Company Secretary to the Board of Trustees, and be the lead contact with external auditors
* Play a pivotal role in delivering operation effectiveness and profitability whilst maintaining the charitable ethos
About You
We are looking for someone who:
* Is a fully qualified accountant with senior business or Board-level experience
* Is commercially astute, with a proven track record of delivering strong financial leadership in a complex and diverse environment
* Thrives on delivering services that create social impact, inspire customers and partners, and align with our values of Care, Teamwork, Innovation, Inspiration, Passion and Inclusivity
