About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Vehicle Technician / Automotive Mechanic to join our busy workshop team. You will carry out a variety of servicing, maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repair work on cars and light commercial vehicles. This is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on automotive work, technical challenges, and delivering excellent service in a friendly team environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out routine vehicle servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs
* Diagnose vehicle faults using modern diagnostic tools and equipment
* Perform repairs on brakes, exhausts, clutches, gearboxes, suspension, and electrical systems
* Complete accurate job cards and service documentation
* Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and compliance standards
* Work efficiently to meet workshop targets and customer expectations
* Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workshop environment
About You
* Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician / Automotive Mechanic
* Strong mechanical knowledge and diagnostic ability
* Reliable, motivated, and detail-focused
* Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
* Experience in servicing and repair work across a range of vehicle makes and models
* Full UK driving licence
* Own tools preferred
