A well-established regional main contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Project Manager / Project Director to lead the delivery of a £35m industrial and logistics development in Stoke-on-Trent.
This is a stand-alone Project Manager role, taking full responsibility for the scheme from a delivery and client management perspective. The project involves a high-profile and demanding client, so the successful candidate must be confident managing senior stakeholders and maintaining programme and quality under pressure.
The Role

Lead the end-to-end delivery of a £35m industrial/logistics scheme
*
Act as the primary point of contact for the client
*
Manage the site team, subcontractors and consultants
*
Drive programme, quality, safety and commercial performance
*
Maintain strong communication with internal directors and the client team
*
Ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standards
About the Company
The contractor is a well-respected regional business with a strong pipeline of work across the Midlands. While this role is initially focused on an industrial and logistics project, the business also delivers schemes across multiple sectors, meaning there will be long-term opportunities beyond this project.
Requirements

Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager or Project Director with a main contractor
*
Experience delivering large-scale construction projects (£25m+)
*
Strong client-facing skills and the ability to manage demanding stakeholders
*
Track record of driving programme and project delivery
*
Excellent leadership and communication skills
