The Role
The Royal Alexandra and Albert School exists to give our children a distinctly different start in life, preparing them for the world with hope, optimism, compassion and empathy.
We are a co-educational, non-selective state boarding school, for boys and girls aged 7 - 18. This is a boarding school with Flexi Boarding students attending from the local area and a lively community of around 400 Full Boarders, passionately involved in a wide range of after-school and weekend activities and trips.
Our Ofsted inspection of March 2024 states ”pupils are happy and well cared for at Royal Alexandra and Albert School. They benefit from positive relationships with staff across the school. Pupils feel safe, confident that if they report any concerns or worries they will be dealt with”.

We are looking for a passionate and organised Admissions Officer to join our team and help guide prospective students and families through the admissions process.
The Admissions Officer will play a key role in ensuring a smooth and positive experience for prospective students and their families. This position requires excellent communication, organisational skills, and a genuine interest in helping students find the right fit within our school community.
Key Responsibilities
* Review and process student applications and supporting documents.
* Provide personalised guidance to prospective students and their families.
* Organise and attend school tours, open mornings, and other admissions-related events.
* Communicate with prospective students, parents, and guardians via phone, email, and in-person meetings.
* Maintain accurate records in the student information system.
* Support the Director of Admissions and Bursaries with data analysis and reporting related to enrolment trends.
* Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in student admissions.
The role may require working some evenings and weekends and therefore necessitates some flexibility in working hours at key periods.
