Finance Manager

Are you a proactive and detail-oriented finance professional with a passion for driving performance, streamlining processes, and leading effective teams? We're looking for a Finance Manager to take ownership of key financial operations, provide commercial insight, and support strategic decision-making.
The Role
This newly created position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, reporting directly to the Group Finance Director. Ideal for someone with a background in commercial finance or FP&A, this role provides scope to influence financial strategy and lead core finance functions.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Process Improvement
Lead and support AP and AR teams
Ensure timely and accurate invoice processing and query resolution
Drive improvements in transactional finance processesOperational Finance & Compliance
Manage duty deferment accounts and HMRC payments
Oversee compliance for warehouse operations
Approve and monitor bank reconciliationsCash Flow & FX Management
Lead short- and long-term cash flow forecasting
Manage FX exposure and implement hedging strategiesBudgeting & Forecasting
Prepare P&L forecasts in collaboration with stakeholders
Support annual budgeting with financial modelling and analysisRebate & Commercial Management
Oversee rebate reconciliations and approve new agreements
Ensure alignment with commercial policiesProject Support & Continuous Improvement
Contribute to ad-hoc projects and ongoing process enhancements
What We're Looking For
Part or fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
Experience in finance management, commercial finance, or FP&A
Strong understanding of cash flow, forecasting, and AP/AR processes
Exposure to compliance and operational finance
Proven ability to lead teams and drive process improvements
Skills & Attributes
Strong leadership and communication skills
High attention to detail and analytical mindset
Advanced Excel and financial modelling proficiency
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
