Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality dental services. Duties
* Assist dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
* Provide direct patient care, including taking medical histories, preparing patients for treatment, and offering post-operative instructions.
* Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation is completed in compliance with regulations.
* Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate patient flow to optimise clinic efficiency.
* Ensure the cleanliness and sterilisation of dental instruments and equipment in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
* Communicate effectively with patients to address their concerns and provide reassurance throughout their treatment journey.
* Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient experience and improve service delivery.
Qualifications
* A recognised qualification in Dental Nursing is essential.
* Previous experience as a Dental Nurse is preferred but not mandatory.
* Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and colleagues.
* Proficiency in IT systems for managing patient records and scheduling appointments.
* Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
* A compassionate approach to patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards patients' needs.
