We are looking for a number of Electronics Technicians for a 12-month contract based in Solihull on behalf of our globally respected client who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planet's vital power needs. Duties of an Electronics Technician: Mounting working devices & parts correctly according to instructions to complete part to required specification. Hand soldering PCBs. Completing quality checks on own work. Completing the relevant documentation (quality, operation data sheets, maintenance, reports, technique sheets, etc.) for all work done. Raising of Non-Conformance documentation and assisting the team and management in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation. Following all health, safety and environmental procedures and regulationsAs an Electronics Technician you will: Have experience with IPC 610 / IPC J-STD is advantageous. Have experience of manual hand soldering on electronics circuit boards. Knowledge of ESD principals. Knowledge of FOD Principals. Surface mount and through hole experience. Handling of Electronic components. Good level of TPM & Housekeeping responsibility. Willingness to embrace personal growth. Demonstrate ability to operate within a Continuous improvement environment.
