Store Manager

£32, - £35,

Full time – 40 Hours per week

Job Purpose

You will take responsibility for the smooth running and ongoing growth of one of our Dulux Decorator Centres. This will involve setting excellent retail and operational store standards, overseeing in-store activity to ensure the delivery of commercial plans and developing your team to be the best they can be. You will also focus on developing your business in your local area to win market share.

Job Responsibilities

1. Engage your team to maintain high service levels to positively differentiate the store from the competition.
2. Collaborate with Regional Operations Manager to develop talent.
3. Role model AkzoNobel Value & Leadership Behaviours.
4. Ensure we have the right culture, processes & controls in place to protect our people, customers & assets.
5. Own your store’s P&L with an emphasis on driving sales, while optimising margin, cost efficiency & protecting against stock/cash losses.
6. Ensure customers receive a warm welcome, informed conversation & a personalised proposal every visit.
7. Review performance & implement improvements to achieve a market leading business performance.

Job Requirements

8. Experience of sales/account management & reviewing people/business performance.
9. Understands the importance of nurturing & inspiring teams
10. Comfortable using business systems.
11. Commercially astute.
