Job Description:
The Role
Arm’s Systems Development team creates subsystems and SoC designs for various application segments, using the latest IP products from Arm and other vendors. We are looking for creative and enthusiastic SoC Verification Engineers to join the team. You will verify sophisticated IP such as CPU/GPU/DSP processors with memory controllers and interconnect fabrics, ensuring they work effectively with software to enable outstanding systems.
Responsibilities:
* Writing test plans, defining test methodologies, and completing functional verification to required quality levels and schedules.
* Collaborating with project management and leads on planning, scheduling, and quality checkpoints.
* Working with engineers from architecture, design, implementation, modelling, performance analysis, silicon validation, FPGA, and board development teams.
* Mentoring junior team members is encouraged for Staff Engineers.
Required Skills and Experience:
* Experience with embedded C/C++ based SoC verification environments.
* Knowledge of assembly language (preferably ARM), C/C++, hardware verification languages (SystemVerilog), and scripting (Tcl, Perl, Python).
* Experience with verification methodologies such as UVM/OVM, formal, low power, emulation.
* Experience across all verification stages: requirements, methodology plans, testbench, test case development, documentation, and support.
* Practical verification experience on processor-based system designs.
* Leadership, mentoring, or coaching experience in technical teams.
Nice To Have Skills:
* Understanding of Arm system architectures.
* Experience with power-aware design and clock domain crossing.
* Knowledge of embedded OS, device drivers, microprocessor, and hardware architectures.
* Verification experience with PCIe, LPDDR, HBM, UCIe, Ethernet subsystems.
* Experience with large SoC development on emulation platforms.
