Daily Rate: £105 - £115 per day
Contract: Temp to Perm
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am -4:00pm
Start Date: September 2025

About the Role
We're recruiting a committed and resilient Teaching Assistant to support vulnerable children across a welcoming junior setting in Nottingham. This full-time role includes supporting pupils both in the classroom and through targeted interventions outside of class. You'll play a key role in promoting emotional wellbeing and engagement with learning, working closely with teachers, SENCO, and pastoral teams.
A key part of the role also includes lunchtime support (12:40-1:10pm daily), helping pupils positively interact during breaktimes.
Key Responsibilities
Provide individual and small group support to pupils with SEMH needs
Assist with classroom learning under the guidance of the teacher
Promote consistent routines and positive behaviour strategies
Support pupils in regulating emotions and engaging in their learning
Facilitate safe and inclusive play during lunchtime
Build strong relationships with staff, pupils, and familiesWhat We're Looking For
Experience supporting children with challenging behaviour or additional needs
Calm, empathetic, and confident in de-escalating situations
Skilled in setting boundaries and promoting emotional development
Level 2 or 3 TA qualification (or equivalent experience)
Strong communication skills and a team player mindset
