As a Sonographer at Nuffield Hereford, you’ll bring high levels of technical knowledge and the ability to work quickly and accurately. You have a great eye for detail and you’re caring by nature, with excellent teamwork skills.
We are a small but friendly team and would love you to be part of providing excellent care to the patients of Herefordshire and beyond! The working atmosphere is highly professional and stimulating, yet friendly and collaborative like that of a large family unit, with many opportunities to progress.
You will be scanning with a new GE Logiq E10, installed in October 2023.
What will the role of a Sonographer involve?
This role calls for excellence in both technical and people skills.
You’ll need high levels of technical knowledge and the ability to work quickly and accurately.
You’ll deliver high-quality ultrasound imaging & reporting for a varied caseload within the department and on the ward as required.
What are we looking for in a Sonographer?
You’ll have a BSc degree in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent to meet the registration requirements of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), and a Post-Graduate diploma / DMU in Medical Ultrasound.
Post-registration experience of general ultrasound imaging and reporting, including Gynae pelvis scanning.
Experience managing an ultrasound quality assurance programme will be an advantage.
You must have excellent communication and IT skills, along with a good understanding of how to encourage and promote effective teamwork.
As a Bank Worker
