Location: Thimbleby Court, Horncastle, LN9 5RA
Shift and Hours: Two-week rotating pattern consisting of:
* Week 1: 15 hours
* Week 2: 20 hours
Salary: £12.25 per hour + a wide range of benefits (see below)
As a Kitchen Assistant, you will be assisting our Chef in carrying out all delegated tasks in all areas of the kitchen's responsibility and maintaining a very high standard of hygiene and dress.
Main Duties And Responsibilities As a Kitchen Assistant
* To ensure that all areas of the kitchen are clean and tidy at all times.
* To ensure that all equipment is thoroughly washed.
* To ensure that the best economic use is made of material issued to you.
* To report all defects, damage, and breakages to the chef/assistant cook.
* To assist in the day-to-day operations of kitchen duties.
* To assist with the preparation of vegetables, sandwiches etc.
* To ensure the kitchen and ancillary rooms are cleaned thoroughly as per the cleaning schedule.
* To work at times in other areas other than your normal place of employment as required.
* At all times your uniform is to be clean and well-ironed and well-presented.
