Head of Digital / E-commerce
Hybrid working - Essex office once a month if that
Package: £100k–£110k + Commission + Bonus
I’m looking for a Head of Ecommerce / Digital Sales to take full ownership of a multi-channel online sales operation within a fast-scaling, product-led business.
This is a high-impact leadership role focused on marketplace growth, digital trading performance, and team leadership — with responsibility for shaping and executing the entire ecommerce strategy across B2B and B2C channels.
What you’ll be doing:
* Owning and scaling the full ecommerce function across Amazon, eBay, and B2B/B2C websites etc
* Setting and delivering the digital sales strategy across all online channels
* Managing and optimising marketplace performance (listings, pricing, promotions, conversion)
* Leading and developing B2B and B2C ecommerce teams
* Driving revenue growth through trading, merchandising, and performance marketing alignment
* Using data, analytics, and platform insights to optimise customer journey and conversion rates
* Taking full ownership of the online P&L and commercial performance
* Identifying new digital channels, marketplaces, and growth opportunities
What we’re looking for:
* Proven leadership in ecommerce / marketplace management (Amazon, eBay, D2C platforms)
* Proven experience in an FMCG distributor industry environment - Essential
* Strong track record of scaling online revenue and managing digital trading functions
* Experience managing both B2B and B2C ecommerce operations
* Commercially sharp with a data-driven approach to performance and growth
* Experience leading and building high-performing ecommerce teams
* Hands-on operator who can own strategy and execution
