Location: Keypoint, Thornhill Road, Swindon
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: Up to £26,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM
About the Client
Our client is a leading national provider of two-person and one-person assisted "White Glove" home delivery services across the UK. They are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Logistics Administrative Assistant to support operations at their busy Swindon distribution centre.
Job Overview
This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in logistics or transport administration. You will play a key part in supporting dispatch operations and ensuring accurate and efficient administrative processes across the depot.
Key Responsibilities
Provide daily administrative support to the logistics and dispatch teams
Assist with coordinating parcel delivery and driver dispatch schedules
Maintain accurate logs and records of driver routes and delivery statuses
Prepare dispatch documentation including delivery notes and logs
Communicate effectively with drivers, warehouse staff, and management
Perform data entry, filing, and other general office duties
Support the Operations Manager and wider team with ad hoc admin tasks
Requirements
Experience in a logistics, warehouse, or transport admin role is essential
Strong understanding of parcel dispatch processes and driver scheduling
Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
Good IT skills, especially in Microsoft Excel and data systems
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
