ABOUT THE ROLE
As Wellbeing and Activities Assistant, your main focus will be supporting the Wellbeing Coordinator in delivering a variety of activities that promote residents' physical, cognitive, and social well-being.
Additional responsibilities will include:
* Maintaining a safe living and working environment, contributing to the positive and professional image of the home.
* Reporting any changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition to the Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator, Home Manager, and care staff.
* Supporting with ordering and preparing supplies for upcoming activities as directed.
* Establishing links with the local community (e.g., schools, spiritual groups, museums/libraries) to encourage community access and promote intergenerational activities.
ABOUT YOU

* Have effective verbal and written communication skills.
* Understand the role of interaction in promoting well-being.
* Have a positive attitude towards older people and a commitment to providing stimulating activities and social events.
* Have previous experience working with older adults in a residential, nursing, or dementia care setting.
