Do you have experience in care, youth work, coaching, residential support or mental health settings? We are recruiting Unqualified Specialist SEN Support Workers to work within specialist SEN and SEMH schools across South Bristol. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils who require additional emotional and behavioural support to succeed in education. About the Schools These specialist provisions support pupils aged 5–16 with: Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) ADHD Trauma and attachment-related needs Challenging behaviour linked to adverse childhood experiences The schools offer small class sizes, structured routines, therapeutic approaches and strong pastoral support. Staff work closely together to create a safe, consistent and nurturing environment. The Role As an Unqualified Specialist SEN Support Worker, you will: Provide 1:1 and small group support Help pupils regulate emotions and manage behaviour Support learning activities tailored to individual EHCP targets Build positive, professional relationships based on trust and consistency Work alongside teachers, SENCOs and external professionals Support pupils both inside and outside of the classroom This role requires patience, resilience and a calm, proactive approach.
