HR GENERALIST

Headquartered in East Kilbride and with an R+D centre in Hamilton, Grw Talent's client is building out a high-volume electronic probe test card production and assembly business in East Kilbride. Already employing over 100 heads they continue to grow in Scotland, USA and Asia. They now need to make the key hire of an HR Generalist, reporting into the Global Head of HR. In this role you will cover both general HR tasks, HR projects and payroll.
Generalist HR Responsibilities:
Deliver a confidential and efficient HR service to the team across the UK, US, and Asia.
Providing advice, guidance and resolving HR matters quickly and effectively, ensuring compliance with HR policies, procedures and legislation.
Provide advice & guidance to supervisors & employees throughout the business on all people related matters.
Provide support & advice on a range of employee relations activities including onboarding, offboarding, probation, absence management, disciplinary & grievance procedures.
Employee data management.
Recruitment support - posting job opportunities, screening CV's and job applications, scheduling interviews and coordinating hiring managers. Chairing junior role interviews.
Onboarding - responsible for HR induction including presentation, preparing new employee paperwork, assisting with new employee onboarding and inductions.
Performance management - support Personal Development Reviews across the business.
Provide support on training requirements.
Promote and support employee wellbeing.
Contribute to the development and improvement of HR processes.
Monitor, review and update HR policies and ensure these are in line with current legislation. HR Projects responsibilities:
Lead and support HR projects, including policy updates, system implementations, process improvements, employee engagement initiatives, and compliance-related changes.
Support the setup of new international business entities, ensuring HR policies, contracts, and onboarding processes comply with local labour laws and company standards. UK, US and Global Payroll responsibilities:
Coordinate and administer payroll processes for the Group, ensuring accurate and timely processing across the UK, US, and Asia, working closely with internal stakeholders and external payroll providers.
