Full time (WFH Monday-Tuesday, on site Wednesday-Friday)
Starting ASAP
We are looking for a methodical, detail-driven individual to join the technical planning team at Cityscape Digital. This role is central to our planning and feasibility work, and focuses on the accurate production of planning images used to support major development proposals in London.
This is a technical 3D role, not a creative or artistic one. The work involves camera matching (aligning 3D models precisely to photographs using survey data), creating wireline views (Accurate Visual Representations or AVRs), and producing supporting documents for planning submissions. These outputs must follow strict procedures and conform to planning standards such as the London View Management Framework (LVMF).
You'll receive full training in our workflow and visual standards, but you must already be comfortable working with 3D software and show a strong interest in buildings, architecture, and the urban environment.
Wants to apply their 3D skills in a structured, planning-focused context.
It is desirable that the candidate has experience working in the London planning industry
Graduate, intern or 1-2 years experience in one or more of the following fields: planning, architectural, architectural visualisation, digital or technical illustration.
Proficiency in Photoshop
Familiarity with other 3D or CAD software (e.g., Rhino, Revit, AutoCad).
Camera matching for verified and non-verified views — aligning 3D models to real-world photography with high accuracy using survey and OS coordinate data.
Creating wireline (AVR1) and massing views in line with LVMF and other planning standards.
Working with CAD files and architectural drawings to create and geolocate base models.
Producing technical documents to accompany planning submissions.
Preparing feasibility visuals and massing studies for early-stage projects.
Collaborating with the Head of Planning and wider team to deliver accurate outputs to client deadlines.
