Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Estimator to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious professional with 3-4 years' post-graduate experience within fit-out or construction estimating, where your expertise will be valued and further developed. As an Estimator you will support the commercial and operational teams by preparing accurate and competitive tenders, ensuring costs are fully captured and risks/opportunities are identified at an early stage. You will be working across a range of fit-out and construction projects, contributing to successful bid submissions and project delivery. Key Responsibilities Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation to determine scope and requirements Prepare accurate cost estimates covering labour, materials, plant, equipment and subcontractors Carry out site visits where required to assess conditions and collect information Obtain and evaluate quotations and bids from subcontractors and suppliers Produce detailed take-offs, cost breakdowns and pricing schedules Identify commercial risks, value engineering opportunities and cost-saving options Support bid preparation, tender submissions and client presentations Maintain up-to-date knowledge of construction methods, pricing trends and market rates Collaborate with project management and operations teams to ensure estimates align with project delivery plans Skills & Experience 3-4 years' post-graduate experience as an Estimator / Quantity Surveyor / Commercial professional Strong knowledge of cost management, estimating and contract administration Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail Experience using estimating and construction platforms such as Evaluate and Procore Strong communication skills with the ability to work confidently with internal teams and external stakeholders Ability to work independently, manage deadlines and contribute effectively as part of a team Benefits BUPA Cashplan & Aviva 30 Days Annual Leave entitlement Flexible Working - Office hours 8am - 4pm (37.5 hrs per week) Hybrid Working - 1 day per week Death in Service Benefit Onsite Parking Ashton Recruitment is acting as an Employment Agency
