Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced Educational Psychologists for the above position, which is based in Barrhead and working within East Renfrewshire. The successful candidate will be a creative and motivated psychologist who will have opportunities to demonstrate their knowledge and leadership skills across a range of work within the Educational Psychology Service and wider Education Department. Applicants should have an honours degree in psychology and be registered with the HCPC as a practitioner psychologist.
This post is considered Regulated Work with Children, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. It is an offence therefore to apply if you are barred from working with children. In addition to this, if you have lived or worked in any country outside the UK in the past 10 years, there may be a requirement for an overseas police check.
