We are looking for Skilled Operatives to join our highways teams in Wiltshire.
We have immediate vacancies for highways civils operatives across the area with depots in Melksham and Chippenham
You’ll be joining our Highways maintenance team, as the UK’s number one highway maintenance contractor, our teams use the latest innovations to create effective solutions. We offer a range of services including planned and reactive maintenance and highway improvement schemes.

What will you be doing?
You'll be working as part of a small team undertaking highways repairs, ranging from drainage, footways, patching & kerbing.
Each day you will usetechnology(tablets/apps) to input safety data and maintenance records.
Drive/operate plant and equipment wheretrained,necessary for the for the day to day tasks set.
You'll take responsibility for vehicles/plant/materials in your charge.
Where appropriate provide direction/supervision of the work to less experienced operatives. You may be asked to undertake winter and emergency maintenance out of hours activities on a standby rota.
What you’ll bring
* Clean driving License
* Plant operator (360 excavator, dumper)
* A commitment to Health and Safety
* Good communication skills and basic literacy and numeracy
* Ability to undertake a high level of manual work and work outdoors in all weathers.
* LGV Class C driving licence OR demonstrate capability to support investment of LGV Class C training during probationary period.
* CSCS Card
