About The Role
The Cyber Security Analyst at Involved Solutions plays a pivotal role in strengthening the company's cyber defense capabilities. This position is ideal for a seasoned security professional who thrives in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment and is passionate about protecting enterprise assets. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring security alerts, investigating potential threats, and responding swiftly to security incidents. They will also contribute to enhancing detection capabilities through threat hunting, vulnerability management, and continuous improvement of security operations. Qualifications
* Proven experience in Security Operations Center (SOC) or security operations environments
* Hands‑on experience with SIEM platforms such as Splunk, QRadar, or ArcSight
* Knowledge of vulnerability management tools and processes
* Experience with Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) technologies
* Familiarity with the MITRE ATT&CK framework and its application in threat detection
* Strong understanding of network security, identity and access management (IAM), and operating systems
* Knowledge of cloud security concepts and container security practices
* Proficiency in scripting and automation to streamline security operations
* Excellent analytical, communication, and incident management skills
* Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are desirable
Responsibilities
* Monitor, investigate, and respond to security alerts generated by SIEM and other security tools to identify potential threats
* Manage security incidents from initial detection through resolution, escalating as necessary to ensure swift action
* Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for designated security tools, ensuring optimal configuration and performance
* Oversee and support services delivered by Managed Security Service Providers, ensuring compliance and effectiveness
* Conduct proactive threat hunting activities, investigations, and vulnerability remediation to mitigate risks
* Utilize threat intelligence feeds to enhance detection logic and improve security controls
* Process Indicators of Attack (IOAs) and Indicators of Compromise (IOCs) to identify malicious activity
* Support confidential eDiscovery investigations and assist with forensic analysis when required
* Maintain comprehensive documentation, operational standards, and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance
* Collaborate effectively with IT teams, stakeholders, and external partners to strengthen security posture
* Participate in an on‑call rota to respond to security incidents outside of regular working hours
