We are looking for a motivated Senior Team Leader to join our expanding management team and provide professional leadership and support to our Team Leaders. The role will be to support the Nursery Manager and Deputy Manager to lead and develop a high quality staff team to provide a sector leading nursery service for early year's children and their families.
The successful candidate will be required to directly line manage the playroom Team Leaders, practitioners and support workers (Childcare Development) and ensure that they and their playroom teams deliver high quality childcare and development in line with best practice and nationally agreed curriculum's.
The successful candidate will be expected to lead and and inspire by role modelling best practice with non contact time allocated, to ensure you are well supported in achieving roles and responsibilities.
This post is 35 hours over 4 days and shifts will vary from 7.30am-6pm
Qualifications & Experience
You must:
· Have experience of leading a team to a high standard
· Have excellent communication skills (verbal, written and listening)
· Have excellent observation and feedback skills
· Have the ability to respond positively to and lead others through change
· Be reliable, self-motivated and committed to high levels of customer service
