Feedmill Administrator – Part Time (Mon–Fri, 5 hours per day)
SourceCo are hiring for a Feedmill Administrator on behalf of a reputable, well-established UK food producer.
This is an organisation that plays a major role in supplying high quality products to many of the country’s best known supermarkets and restaurant brands. Operating one of the most robust supply chains in the sector, they manage everything from agricultural sites to large scale processing facilities. Their feed mills are at the centre of this operation, producing thousands of tonnes of specialist product every week and supporting over 300 farms across England and Wales.
Key Responsibilities
As the Feedmill Administrator, you will support daily operations across three mills, ensuring accurate and compliant administration.
Duties include:

Verifying feed and raw material postings in internal systems
*
Completing daily invoice preparation and processing
*
Reconciling purchase orders and production records
*
Checking sales invoices for accuracy and correct cost centre allocation
*
Raising internal sales orders and processing returns
*
Ordering feed, office supplies, engineering parts, and diesel supplies
*
Updating stock movements, cycle counts, and stock reports
*
Administering asset management and purchasing systems
*
Managing goods receipting and closing off orders
*
Liaising with hauliers for weekend planning
*
Supporting finance and operational teams with general administrative tasks
Candidate Specification
We’re looking for someone who is:

Experienced in administration within an office, production, agricultural, FMCG, or manufacturing environment
*
Highly organised with strong time-management skills
*
Comfortable working independently and using initiative
*
Confident with Excel and general IT systems (experience with Oracle, Maximo, or similar systems is advantageous)
*
Numerate, analytical, and accurate with data
*
A clear communicator with strong attention to detail
*
Able to learn processes quickly and adapt to changing priorities
