This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and skilled Year 5 Teacher to join the team and play a key role in guiding pupils through a crucial stage of their academic and personal development.
The Role
As a Year 5 Teacher, you will:
* Deliver a rich and engaging curriculum tailored to the needs of Upper Key Stage 2 learners
* Prepare pupils for their final primary school years, building confidence, independence, and resilience
* Monitor progress through effective assessment and use of data
* Create a classroom environment that encourages curiosity, effort, and mutual respect
* Work collaboratively with teaching colleagues and support staff
* Communicate clearly and positively with parents and carers
* Take an active part in school life, including enrichment activities and trips
What We re Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Proven experience in Key Stage 2 (Year 5 experience is advantageous but not essential)
* Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and learning outcomes
* A child-centred, proactive, and reflective teaching style
* High expectations for both behaviour and academic achievement
* Commitment to ongoing professional development
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
