As a Community Nurse, you will provide high-quality, home-based care to patients undergoing Peritoneal Dialysis (PD), including both adults and children. You’ll play a key role in ensuring safe, effective treatment in the community. Key Responsibilities: Support patients with Automated and Manual Peritoneal Dialysis Connect and disconnect PD machines during home visits Administer IV medications and monitor patient observations (e.g., blood pressure, weight) Perform catheter site care and dressing changes Maintain a clean and safe environment, manage stock and waste Communicate with hospital PD units when clinical advice or intervention is needed Provide care to both adult and paediatric patients in their own homes About You - To be considered for this role, you must have: Valid NMC registration as a Registered General Nurse or Children’s Nurse Minimum 2 years’ post-registration experience Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Essex Previous community experience is desirable but not essential Package and Benefits: Annual salary of £36,000 with £4,800 guaranteed car allowance paid monthly (£40,800 per annum) Paid mileage 31 days annual leave plus an extra day off for your birthday Access to private pension scheme and salary sacrifice car scheme 24/7 access to online private GP services Employee Assistance Programme offering counselling and wellbeing support Additional performance-related bonuses Working Pattern: No night shifts 5-day working week Shifts start at either 7:00am or 1:00pm Interested?
