Responsibilities

* Set up and commissioning of servo hydraulic/pneumatic control systems serving both uni-axial test machines and bespoke multi-channel test frames.
* Collaborating with clients to understand requirements and providing technical support throughout the testing lifecycle.
* Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting of test equipment to ensure optimal performance.
* Documenting test procedures, results, and maintenance activities in compliance with quality standards.
* Contributing to the continuous improvement of testing methodologies and equipment.

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Control and Data Acquisition Engineer to join our team, specialising in systems engineering leading towards multi-channel servo-hydraulic testing. In this role, you will be responsible for commissioning, operating, and maintaining hydraulic test rigs, ensuring precise control and accurate data acquisition. Your expertise will be pivotal in configuring data logging equipment and integrating various transducers to monitor and record critical test parameters.


Qualifications

* A Strong background in control systems and instrumentation
* Developed knowledge of electrical and electronic systems
* Maintenance background would be beneficial to the role
* NVQ Level 3 qualification or higher and relevant experience within industry is essential
