Research Nurse (Oncology & Haematology)
Role: Join to apply for the Research Nurse role at George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Mon‑Fri 09:00‑17:00).
Contract: Permanent.
Salary: £38,682 – £46,580 per annum (dependant on experience).

About the role
The post holder will significantly contribute to the recruitment of oncology and haematology research at George Eliot Hospital. They will facilitate the setup, coordination, and management of clinical research studies across several departments.
Key responsibilities include:
* Recruitment and consent of patients.
* Monitoring and observation of patients in trials.
* Maintaining accurate records of research data.
* Ensuring compliance with UK health research policy and Good Clinical Practice regulations.
* Providing clinical and non‑clinical support to NIHR portfolio research projects.
* Undertaking mandatory training as required.
* Acting in accordance with NMC Code and Trust policies.
* Contributing to corporate objectives within local Trust guidelines.
Qualifications and experience
Applicants should have experience in clinical research in oncology/haematology and familiarity with GCP and NIHR regulations.
