A subject matter expert delivering best‑in‑class PMO and project controls, strengthening Mace's market presence and client confidence. The Cost Engineer supports programme delivery through robust cost management and stakeholder coordination, operating within secure environments.
Please Note: This role is to be based in Warrington 2-3 days per week and requiring UK nationality and security clearance.
You'll be responsible for:
* Delivering accurate cost monitoring, forecasting and reporting.
* Supporting budget, scope, change control and earned value analysis.
* Coordinating closely with scheduling, commercial, finance and construction teams.
* Assuring monthly cost data and variance analysis.
* Driving forecast accuracy and process improvements.
* Producing clear cost reports.
* Applying strong cost management and change control.
* Building effective client and partner relationships.
You'll need to have:
* Achieved professional qualification through recognised body (e.g. APM, AACE, ACostE etc).
* Proven relevant experience in project management or project controls environment in a similar cost role in a construction or consultancy background.
* Experience of nuclear or high secure sectors desirable.
