About the Role
Join Our Dynamic Team as a Data and IT Manager! Are you an experienced IT and data professional looking for an exciting leadership role in a dynamic school environment? We are seeking a Data and IT Manager to oversee our school’s IT systems, data security, and compliance, ensuring the smooth operation of our technology and data management processes. Key Responsibilities:
• Data Management: Analyse and report key student, staff, and family data to support strategic decision-making. Ensuring compliance with all regulations and managing statutory returns.
• IT Systems & Security: Lead on IT security and cyber protection, ensuring compliance with GDPR regulations. Taking on Exam Officer and Data Protection Officer Responsibilities.
• Compliance & Audits: Manage statutory returns, internal audits, and data retention policies.
• Leadership & Training: Act as the school’s Data Protection Officer and provide training on data security and GDPR.
• Project Management: Support the planning and implementation of IT and data-related projects This exciting role is ideal for someone who thrives under pressure, has exceptional organisational skills, and enjoys taking on new challenges. As a member of the Operational Leadership Team, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving the delivery of the School Development Plan, in line with the strategic direction set by our Senior Leadership Team and Board of Governors. What We’re Looking For: • Strong IT, data analysis, and security experience.
• Excellent knowledge of Office 365 and Excel (including formulas and data manipulation).
• Ability to interpret and present complex data in a clear, actionable way.
• Experience in IT network security and GDPR compliance.
