UHD - Medical Recruitment Site Poole Hospital Town Poole Salary £113,565 - £150,569 Per Annum Salary period Yearly Closing 14/06/2026 08:00</p><h3>Job overview</h3><p>We are ideally looking for someone with an interest in Myeloid disorders, however applicants with other sub‑specialty interests would also be considered.</p><p>The successful applicant will join our existing friendly team of haemato‑oncology consultants (FTE 9) and participate in a 1:13 rota supported by a 2 tier SHO & SpR on call rota. CESR or European Community rights</li><li>FRCR or equivalent</li><li>MD or PhD is not a requirement but would be looked upon favourably</li></ul><h3>experience and effectivness</h3><ul><li>Evidence of up to date skills in the management of patients with acute haematological</li><li>Confident in the diagnosis of haematological malignancies</li><li>Evidence of the ability to offer expert clinical opinion in emergency and elective aspects of haematology taking full and independent responsibility for clinical decisions</li><li>Ability to perform within multidisciplinary team</li><li>A specialist interest in the management of Myeloma, Lymphoma and myeloid disorders is encouraged</li></ul><h3>Knowledge and skills</h3><ul><li>Willingness and ability to fulfil all key elements of the job description</li></ul><p>Staff recruited are expected to be available to work flexibly across all our Trust locations to meet service demands.</p><p>COVID-19 vaccination remains the best way to protect yourself and our patients from the virus when working in our healthcare settings.
