Job Summary
We are looking for a hands‑on Pizza Chef & Store Manager to lead daily operations while delivering consistently high‑quality pizza and exceptional customer service. This role combines culinary expertise with leadership and business management responsibilities. The ideal candidate is passionate about pizza, thrives in a fast‑paced environment, and knows how to motivate a team while keeping the store running smoothly and profitably.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook pizzas according to recipes and quality standards
* Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are followed at all times
* Monitor food quality, presentation, and portion control
* Minimize food waste and manage proper storage of ingredients
Store Management & Operations
* Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
* Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling food and labor costs
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies
* Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally
* Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment
* Train, schedule, and supervise kitchen and front‑of‑house staff
* Lead by example during peak service hours
* Foster a positive, efficient, and team‑oriented work culture
* Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching
Business & Performance
* Monitor sales, expenses, and key performance indicators
* Implement strategies to improve efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction
* Support promotions, specials, and menu updates
Qualifications & Skills
* Proven experience as a pizza chef.
* Previous experience in a supervisory or store management role preferred
* Strong knowledge of pizza‑making techniques (dough, ovens, toppings, sauces)
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
* Ability to multitask and perform under pressure
* Solid understanding of food safety regulations
* Basic inventory, scheduling, and cost‑control skills
