Responsibilities
As a Town Planner, you will:
* Deliver high-quality planning consultancy services to clients, ensuring compliance with RTPI standards and internal best practices.
* Manage project timelines effectively, consulting with senior staff as needed to ensure successful delivery.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for business development and cross-selling services.
* Collaborate with colleagues across our UK offices to deliver integrated solutions for clients.
* Travel across the UK for site visits and client meetings, contributing to projects of varying scales and sectors.
* Mentor and support junior team members in their professional development.
* Contribute innovative ideas to enhance client value and generate new revenue streams.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, you will need:
* MRICS qualification or over 3 years of relevant experience.
* Strong knowledge of English and Scottish planning systems.
* Excellent interpersonal skills to confidently advise clients and collaborate with colleagues.
* Exceptional organisational and time management abilities to meet deadlines.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
* Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
* RTPI or RICS membership, or a relevant qualification.
* A valid UK driving licence (or working towards obtaining one)
