The Opportunity
In the role of Adult Social Care Workforce Learning and Development Team Administrator, here’s an example of what you’ll be doing to make an impact:
- As the administrator, manage all communications including calls, emails, and visitors, ensuring an efficient and responsive service that meets high customer service standards.
- Coordinate and organise training sessions, from planning and booking to managing attendance and evaluations, to ensure smooth delivery of educational programmes.
- Assist in producing and distributing promotional materials for courses, keeping all stakeholders informed and engaged.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate records across various systems, supporting the creation of detailed reports when necessary.
- Provide administrative support for meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and coordinating schedules.
- Oversee and manage training resources and equipment, ensuring they are serviced and compliant with regulations.
- Facilitate the procurement and management of external training providers, handling bookings and financial transactions with care.
- Keep training information up-to-date and accessible online for both internal and external audiences, supporting the team’s wide-reaching initiatives.

About You
To be successful in this role, you’ll ideally have...

• Experience in a busy office environment with a diverse range of administrative tasks.
• Demonstrated experience in providing customer-oriented services.
• Proficient IT skills with knowledge of various systems and software packages, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.
• Ability to manage a high-volume and varied workload efficiently.
• Experience in partnership working with internal and external agencies.
• Experience or knowledge of working within the public sector, such as health or social care.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
• Experience in inputting, collating, and analysing data and presenting it effectively.
• Understanding of Data Protection and General Data Protection Regulations, confidentiality, and information security.
• Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing, with the ability to adapt communication styles.
• GCSE English and Maths, grade C or above, or equivalent certificates.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality service.
• Well-developed interpersonal skills.
• Thorough and methodical approach to tasks and workload.
• Initiative and the ability to work independently.
• Willingness to assist in developing administrative and information systems.
• Creative and solution-focused thinking with a positive, can-do approach.
