Position: Part Time Community Liaison Officer Location: Weston-super-Mare Salary: £14.00 per hour – 18 Month Fixed term contract, 8 hours per week – 4hrs a day Preferably Thursday and Friday Our client is currently recruiting a Public Liaison Officer to join their Civil Engineering team on an 18-month fixed-term contract working on the restoration of a Pier. The successful candidate will be working for a specialist contractor delivering structural restoration works as part of North Somerset Council’s Pier project. As Public Liaison Officer, you’ll be the first point of contact for residents, businesses and community groups, ensuring clear, timely communication. You will coordinate enquiries, support drop-in sessions and public liaison events, create updates for BHCC channels and social media, and contribute to schools/STEM and social value activities.
