Based in the beautiful Brixworth, Northamptonshire, this is your chance to make a significant impact on the construction phase of highways in both West Northamptonshire and North Northamptonshire.

Location: Brixworth, Northamptonshire - Enjoy a mix of office and remote work, with travel to developer sites required.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week - We offer flexibility, so just let us know your preferences!
Salary: £58,000 - £62,000 per year + £5.9k annual car allowance + private healthcare + additional benefits.

Your Responsibilities
As the Team Leader, you will:
* Lead and mentor a team of site inspectors, fostering their skills and ensuring high performance.
* Monitor developer works for compliance with approved documentation and specifications.
* Ensure operational and public safety within the highway, including traffic management compliance.
* Liaise with developers, designers, contractors, and local highway authority teams to identify and agree on necessary design changes for high-quality schemes.
* Ensure health and safety compliance on all projects.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you:
* Hold an HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in civil engineering, or have relevant experience.
* Bring significant experience supervising highway works on site, with knowledge of Section 38 and 278 processes.
* Understand the Safety at Street Works and Road Works code of practice.
* Possess in-depth knowledge of CDM regulations.
* Can accurately and consistently follow technical, legal, and administrative procedures.
