Lutine Bell are currently supporting a Leading Global Insurer looking to appoint a Compliance Business Partner into their Specialty arm of the business, working closely with the Head of Compliance.
Responsibilities:
* Serve as a trusted advisor and primary contact for regulatory and governance matters, offering clear guidance and direction to the business.
* Participate in regular business and governance meetings, delivering Compliance updates on regulatory changes, emerging risks, key topics, and required actions.
* Collaborate with the business to design and implement effective policies and procedures that ensure adherence to regulatory obligations.
* Provide informed Compliance advice and constructive challenge on business or functional risks, including during the development of new business models, products, or operational processes.
* Foster open and transparent communication between Compliance and the business, ensuring timely updates on ongoing Compliance initiatives and projects.
Requirements:
* Experience in Compliance within the London Market, gained through roles at either an insurer or a broker
* Extensive and in-depth understanding of the FCA Handbook, including its Principles, Rules, and Guidelines
* Strong commercial acumen with a pragmatic approach to applying regulatory requirements within the insurance sector
Salary: up to £90,000 pa (plus bonus & benefits)
