35 hours- £32,465.07 - £35,622.32 per annum
17.5 hours - £16,232.54 - £17,811.16 per annum

Role Purpose
The Children and Families Social Work Long Term Team in Duns has two posts available, one full time and one half time, for enthusiastic Social Work Assistants, who are committed to promoting the rights and welfare of children in the Scottish Borders. Social Work Assistants play a vital role in the work of the team, supporting children and young people to remain at home with their families, when safe; in promoting the inclusion of care experienced children in their families; and supporting social workers in assessments of parents and carers. The role includes direct work in family homes, in the community and in our family centres.
Essential
HNC/SVQ 3 in Social Care or Childcare and Education
OR considerable experience and a commitment to undertake such training
A current driving licence and use of a vehicle is an essential requirement of this post.
