As a Surfacing Supervisor Apprentice, within the Surfacing Solutions business you’ll be involved in all aspects from operational, commercial and administration. This is a 24/7 operation so flexibility to working hours is key.
You will undertake theoretical and practical training to develop the knowledge, skills and experience required to ensure you have a thorough understanding of all areas.
If you’re one to tiptoe around puddles with trepidation, maybe this role isn’t for you. You won’t be spending every day in a clean, corporate office swivelling on an office chair! Time will be spent working within all operational departments.
What We’re Looking For…?
· A minimum of 5 GCSE grades 5-9, as well as A levels or a BTEC in related topics, e.g., Engineering, Construction, Maths, Physics or Business.
· Basic IT skills to use work systems e.g. excel, work, etc.
· A full UK Driving Licence – during your apprenticeship with us, we want you to experience and see everything we have to offer so you will need to be flexible to travel to other sites.
· Enthusiasm and interest in working in the construction materials industry – we’d love to hear about why you chose us and what interests you about this role!
· Flexibility with your working hours and be able to work nights and weekends.
· Ability to work away from home with possible overnight stays.
· You will need to be a minimum age of 18 (by end of August 2026).
