Location: Twyford Background check required: None Closing Date: 1 May 2024 We're looking for an experienced Foreman / General Foreman to join the structures team on Calvert project based in Twyford to be responsible for the efficient management of site resources, labour teams and subcontractors, to ensure the safe delivery of the project. To be successful in this role you need to be experienced in all aspects of construction, have experience in FRC structures, particularly bridges. Location: Twyford, Buckinghamshire Contract: Permanent Fulltime Salary: £48k - £60k company car private healthcare benefits Responsibilities As a General Foreman, must be able to manage the resources such that the works are efficiently delivered and work with the Works Manager to effectively manage risks and identify opportunities. Your day to day will include: Deliver site inductions and toolbox talks and ensure Safety Health and Environment (SHE) register is maintained and up to date Deliver works in line with Kier Health & Safety Management System and ensure Safety Health & Environment (SHE) legislation is complied with Contribute to SHE plans, evaluate method statements and risk assessments Check specification and drawings against works completed and materials used Planning/Programming and attend progress meetings Ensure site direct labour and sub - contractors are correctly supervised and qualified for the role Carry out statutory weekly inspections What are we looking for?
