They are now seeking an experienced and enthusiastic HLTA to join their team from January and make a meaningful impact in the classroom. The Role As a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant, you’ll collaborate closely with class teachers to support high-quality teaching and learning across a range of subjects. You’ll take an active role in lesson delivery, small group work, and individual support, helping to create a positive and inclusive learning experience for all pupils. Key Responsibilities: Assist in planning and delivering engaging lessons. Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups. Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment. Support pupils’ emotional and pastoral needs with care and empathy. Prepare teaching resources and monitor pupil progress. Deliver interventions for children with additional needs. Communicate effectively with staff, parents, and carers. ✅ What We’re Looking For Previous experience in a similar HLTA or TA role. A proactive, caring, and enthusiastic approach to education. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Confidence in leading learning activities and supporting diverse needs.
