Key Responsibilities Lead the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring compliance with Ofsted and the Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015. Safeguard and promote the welfare of children, ensuring their voices are central to decision-making. Create a homely, activity-filled environment underpinned by therapeutic and trauma-informed practice. Provide strong leadership, supervision, and guidance to staff, building a motivated and skilled team. Oversee staff recruitment, induction, and development, fostering a culture of learning and excellence. Manage budgets and resources effectively, balancing financial sustainability with quality care. Build positive partnerships with social workers, schools, health professionals, and families. Drive continuous improvement, preparing for inspections and achieving outstanding outcomes. Requirements Experience as a Registered Manager or in a senior leadership role within children's residential care. Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards). Strong knowledge of safeguarding, Ofsted inspections, and regulatory frameworks. Experience in trauma-informed and child-centred care approaches. Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
