Working within a busy administration team, scanning, reading and adding clinical codes to patient records. Helping with daily emails and general admin queries.
Main duties of the job
The main duties of the role will be clinical coding and document workflow. The successful applicant will be expected to assist with all aspects of administration within the office where required and provide adhoc reception cover when required.

Croft Medical centre is a busy GP Practice in Chelmsley Wood.
The clinical team works very well together and consists of 3 GP Partners, 3 salaried GP's, 3 ANP's and a treatment room team of nurses and HCA's.
The admin team consists of PM, DPM, 2 Care Navigators, 1 treatment room administrator, 2 readcoders / administration, 1 medical secretary / administrator, a medical records administrator and 8 receptionists.

Job responsibilities
Scanning all post and letters that are received within the practice and attach the documents to the patient records.
Read and action all emails that come through the generic email address
Add clinical codes to patient records from all letters that are received into practice.
General admin queries and assist the team with any admin work required.
Cover reception on an adhoc basis
Any other administration work required by the team.

* GCSE Maths and English grade C or above (Equivalent grade 4 or above)
