The Shelley is a 32 bed residential care home set in the centre of Worthing, 5 minutes walk from the seafront. The home is family run and we pride ourselves on delivering excellent care for each of our residents.
About You:
We are looking to recruit a Senior Care Assistant, who is outstanding and has a desire to make a difference to the elderly in the daily care which they require. You must be passionate about working in care, have some experience in working in a care environment, and are able to adapt to the changing needs of our residents and home.
Job Description:
* Medication giving and assisting in the management of medication more widely in the home.
* Monthly care plan reviews as well as annual reviews with families.
* Leading the day team and ensuring a high quality of the care and service is provided to residents.
* The champion for an aspect of resident care in the home
* Training to care staff on aspects of care such as falls and medication.
* Providing care needs of our 32 residents and ensuring dignity and respect is shown at all times.
* on call duties at weekend's, shared amongst the team
