Our client, an innovative and forward-thinking B2B media business, has a brand-new Head of Marketing opportunity where you will take ownership of the strategy, planning, and implementation of performance marketing initiatives across multiple international B2B brands and the company. You will focus on audience growth and brand awareness, events, and lead generation. As a Head of Department, you will be part of the senior leadership team, contributing to shaping the international brands and their long-term objectives. Your role will be hands-on, not just delegating, and will see you collaborate and inspire at all levels in the business — from the CEO down to all members of your team — sharing your experiences and acting with gravitas to bring others along on your journey.
As Head of Marketing, your exciting new role involves:
1. Growing and enhancing the reach, awareness, and engagement of each international brand
2. Developing and implementing data-driven strategies focusing on audience growth, lead generation, events, and brand awareness
3. Conducting market research to gain a deeper understanding of audiences
4. Utilising reporting and data metrics to measure campaign effectiveness
5. Managing all processes, ensuring best practices
6. Developing testing and trialling of new initiatives
7. Supporting and facilitating new product development and launches
8. Setting the strategic direction for the performance team
I am very interested in speaking with candidates who have experience working at a senior level as a Head of Marketing, Performance Marketing, or Marketing Director within a B2B commercial environment, including a background within B2B media, publishing, or events. Experience in creating and implementing data-driven strategies across all channels (including digital), events, lead generation, membership models, etc., is essential for success in this role — along with a strong competency across all areas of digital (including social and content).
Salary for this opportunity is £70,000 to £80,000 (depending on experience) plus up to £8,000 bonus opportunity.
