About the Role
We are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join us on a 6-month fixed-term contract. The role involves performing daily, weekly, and monthly activities to ensure the Warehouse Department meets KPI targets related to cost, quality, service, and behaviors, following established procedures.
Key Responsibilities
1. Ensure compliance with all statutory, legal, safety, health, and environmental regulations.
2. Adhere to packaging and food hygiene safety standards, including HACCP requirements.
3. Meet product and process quality standards.
4. Maintain housekeeping, cleaning, and 5S standards.
5. Perform basic asset care as required for all operators.
6. Operate warehouse equipment to deliver quality finished goods on time and within budget.
7. Participate in continuous improvement activities to meet KPI targets, such as Short Interval Control (SIC).
8. Engage in training to develop new skills and tasks, supporting upskilling initiatives.
9. Perform warehouse tasks as directed by the First Line Manager.
10. Attend meetings and briefings as necessary.
11. Complete documentation and transactions to support departmental performance.
12. Meet internal customer requirements.
13. Understand and adhere to food safety requirements.
14. Accurately pick and pack orders, ensuring stock is complete, undamaged, and compliant with procedures.
Candidate Profile
1. Standard Grades in English & Mathematics or equivalent.
2. Packaging or engineering qualifications are advantageous.
3. All necessary operational training will be provided.
4. Valid FLT license with Keg Clamp experience is preferred.
5. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
6. Experience in picking is desirable.
