What this job involves: As a Car Parking Attendant at JLL, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and exceptional customer service in our parking facilities across our Rolls-Royce contract at Raynesway, Derby. You'll be the face of JLL, greeting clients and visitors with a warm smile while efficiently managing vehicle flow and maintaining a safe parking environment. What your day-to-day will look like: Monitor and control vehicle access to designated JLL-managed parking facilities Issue parking permits and collect fees where applicable Provide clear directions and parking assistance to tenants and visitors Maintain security and safety within the car park Conduct regular patrols of the parking facility Respond to customer inquiries and resolve parking-related issues professionally Ensure parking regulations are followed and take appropriate action when necessary Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns through proper channels Assist with basic maintenance tasks and ensure parking areas remain clean and presentable Liaise with property management teams regarding any operational issues Able to work as part of a Team or on own when required. Required Qualifications: Valid UK driving licence preferred Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanour Strong communication abilities Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic Ability to stand for extended periods and walk throughout shifts Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays as required Understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to parking facilities Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in parking operations or customer service roles in the UK Knowledge of UK traffic laws and local council parking regulations Experience in conflict resolution and problem-solving Proficiency in using mobile devices and basic computer applications JLL empowers you to shape a brighter way.
